2. FAMILY HOME: Goose
ADDRESS: Ambatolampy

?? Two hours outside of the capital city Antananarivo lies a small Malagasy village, Ambatolampy. We spent the day with a local family, who live in clay houses they built, on a rice farm which provides food for the family. Any additional rice they have, they sell to make a living. The family of 25 invited us to join them for a family feast of goose. One goose feeds the entire family, and we were fortunate enough to be able to experience this family meal.

?ABOUT BEFRS:
Hey, I’m Sonny! I’m from the US but currently call Vietnam home. I’ve been living in Asia for 10 years and started making food and travel videos to document my experiences. People either enjoyed my undeniable charm or enjoyed watching me eat things like coconut worms, and thus Best Ever Food Review Show came to be.

I travel to different parts of the world, hunting down and documenting the most unique food each country has to offer. If you see any factual food errors in my videos, please feel free to politely let me know in the comments. I’m a huge fan of trying different, interesting foods in each country. My show is from a Western point of view, but more importantly, MY point of view. It is not meant to offend any person or culture.

Don’t forget to subscribe to Best Ever Food Review Show, so we can connect through food and travel and become Bestys!

  2. Hi Sonny??? just wondering, do you pay these families to kill the goose? Do you offer to have a well dug, build a fence, ship them salt? I am sure you do something, & I am curious. I know they will get kick backs, when tourists visit, but I also know you are kind hearted ?

  4. As a matter of fact a single goose can definitely feed 25 people as long as 24 of them are dead….and that’s facts….it’s like the saying goes “3 people can keep a secret as long as 2of them are dead”.##letstalkaboutit

  6. They are the richest people on earth eating fresh food. Home made food. So long as you have cows goats chicken and a field to farm then you have plenty of food. They don't have recession or need money to go to Macdonald or subway or KFC.
