Chinese is the best food
The street-food scene in China is dead! They're trying to kill it in Thailand. Seems like they've not made inroads into Viet yet. I've been a China observer for nearly 30 yrs. Since '95 and vigorous "hygiene" policies, the food has gotten progressively worse, more expensive, and increasingly suspect in terms of authenticity. I'm talking about all types of fake food made of plastic being pawned off as real. The Chinese themselves are greatest victims.
