We got a frantic call on our helpline that a donkey had been brutally beaten. Our rescue team found him with blood streaming down his face and legs. We rushed him back to Animal Aid’s hospital where we stopped the bleeding, gave him pain medicine and antibiotics and treated more than 20 deep cuts all over his body.
Today, Veeru is healed inside and out. It took many months to gain his trust but now he loves life.
