I think I finally found a dad that's almost as awesome as mine.
Hopefully he learned the obvious (but extremely valuable) lesson here; if you find yourself in a tight spot, screaming like a stuck pig won't help you unless you know someone is near you. It's clear he wasn't just screaming to get his dad's attention, he was truly scared out of his mind. Honestly, even though someone was near him, screaming like that wasn't advisable, since air is in short supply down there. Even if you think it's likely someone will be able to save you, never let yourself depend upon it. A calm mind, and decisive, rational action is your best hope.

Had a similar experience this past season in a boulder field. Except I had snow cave in underneath me. Fell upside down, most terrifying experience in my life. Couldn't breathe as I only inhaled snow. Your a doing a great job as a dad!
