We found Luca crying with pain, on the outskirts of a city from Romania. We were told that he had been abused, being tied and dragged by a car, hit, beaten. His small body was all injured, and, as we found out later, his tail was irreversibly damaged, being paralyzed. We took him to a vet clinic and, after a month of proper care, the little dog is almost completely recovered.
Life on the streets, suffering, hunger and fear belong to the past. This brave dog is much better now, both physically and mentally. Now he is happy around people, active, playful and a big kisser, mad about dog treats 🙂
He is ~1 year old, neutered, medium sized ~14 kg, very kind and brave.
Considering the suffering he has been through, he needs a very responsible family, capable of offering him all the care and love he deserves.

UPDATE March 2, 2014 !
Spring came with good news for Luca. Thanks to the American opera singer, Ms. Carol Byers, founder and president of Animal Care Austria, Luca left Romania yesterday, heading towards a beautiful life. Luca also enjoys now the attention of a dog trainer who will teach him smart tricks 🙂
We want to express our respect and thanks to Ms Carol Byers and her team for making this world a better place for animals.
We also want to thank all of you for watching and for sharing Luca’s story and for your good thoughts regarding him!

Those responsible need to have their kneecaps cut out and be made to walk around with the open wounds…mfkrs are a waste of good air.
Lots of kids a becoming more violent towards animals. Very sick group. They are already so poor by being homeless they don't need these horrible people to injure them. I hope these people get it all back.
