Although this video was about the nature of killing prey to survive, it was the segment of the vicious attack upon two (out of four cheetahs) by two adult, male lions that caught my full attention. While it's known that such attacks do occur (each predator killing off the other's young given the opportunity)…this rare footage caught the action between the adults of the two species beginning with the dispatch of a young, cheetah female and ending with the elimination of one of her male suitors.
