Just after 5.30pm Wednesday 22 August, police and emergency services were called to the intersection of Marion Road and Cross road after a police motorbike and a car collided. The rider of the bike, a male officer, was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The driver of the car, a 21-year-old woman from Clarence Park, was not injured. She was later charged. 36. Forgive an American woman's ignorance but why do so many cars & trucks flip on their sides after being hit? Are they being hit harder than I think?
