Skydiving is off my bucket list. (Its official after binge watching these.)
The last clip wasn't near death. That airplane was fully functional and the pilot could have flown to another airport with less crosswinds if he wanted to. Landings like that are challenging to the pilot, but no pilot would risk passangers lives just to land. They were in control of the aircraft.

Lambo driver survived with about 40% of body burned. Not thanks to most of safety crewmen who seem to suffer from absence of both common sense or knowledge.
