Welcome to the Rong Kluea Market (ตลาดโรงเกลือ) in Aranyaprathet on the border of Thailand and Cambodia.
I took a bus from Bangkok’s Mo Chit bus station directly to the Rong Kluea Market (ตลาดโรงเกลือ).
Bus Cost: 207 Thai Baht
Bus Ride: 3 – 4 hours (it took us longer due to Bangkok flooding)
The Rong Kluea Market (ตลาดโรงเกลือ) is a gigantic sprawling market full of fake designers goods, trinkets, clothes or all kinds, soccer shirts, and even a huge fresh food market. Of course, you can get great Thai food at the market as well!

Yes, the market is right at the border, you can walk. Yes, there are scams, so be sure to know your facts (how much money things cost), and go to the official place to get your visa.
may i know is the Thai border within walking distance from the market? i'll be taking a bus from the survanabhumi airport to Rong Kluea market..also i read there're lots of scams happening there!!

Good one. The market also has some very good Vietnamese sandwiches for 20B at the little food soi in the back of the 7-11 closest to the Thai Immigration.
