This was from our homeschool groups trip to the Endangered Animal Rescue Sanctuary in Citra, Florida. EARS is a not-for-profit organization that exists specifically to provide permanent homes for unwanted and/or abused endangered animals. They’ve rescued over 200 tigers, lions, cougars, bears and monkeys. You can find more information about them here: http://www.earsinc.net/

Tigers in the wild roam over hundreds of miles. This is sad.
Thru my sons virtual school a teacher took them to an animal sanctuary but we could not go since the drive was too far and I needed to be home for my other sons bus drop off. We have been to this website before.
@cperkcpa Yes, we were very impressed with this place. They have a lot of property where they can run around in nature. The tigers that i took pictures of were all in holding cages, waiting to go outside or being moved while cages are being cleaned.
Glad to have a place like this.
@denisesonnenberg Hi Denise – do you mean taken from their natural habitat by EARS or previously? EARS doesn't take animals from nature – they take in endangered animals that were abused or neglected. If you meant the people that had them before EARS….I think most of them were born into captivity and then abused…which is how they ended up at EARS.
What beautiful animals. Sad that they are taken from their natural habitat.
Awesome cause!
@NakevaNCorothers Thanks Nakeva! They're such a great organization run by very dedicated people.
What a cool video Joanne. You've taken some really good picture. What kind of camera did you use?
