While in Siem Reap I went on an epic food tour with Angkor Street Eats, led by local guide, Kun. Throughout the duration of the evening I tried dozens of new foods and drinks that completely exceeded my expectations.
The tour provides a bevy of unique, authentically khmer dishes as well as a few adventure eating courses that will really test your palette. These are foods and places that you will not find on your own near any tourist areas.
Beyond the amazing food, my guide Kun, was a beacon of knowledge. Since he grew up in Siem Reap, he is literally a part of its history. He told stories about conflicts within the country, the ways Siem Reap has changed over the years and of course, all about the food.
I would highly recommend this tour to anyone going to Siem Reap. You will not find an experience like this anywhere else.

This video doesn’t show all the locations we went to or all the food. I chose to highlight some of the more odd foods along the tour.

I’m a huge fan of trying different, interesting and strange foods in each country. My show is from a Western point of view, but more importantly MY point of view, but is not meant to offend any person or culture.

Welcome to Cambodia ??❤️
I love their food
I love siem reap
As a Cambodian and I never eat Amok before.
This blog is not for vegan. Go somewhere else.
It's not the way we eat baby duck eggs that you ate . Eggs + herb + salt and pepper+ lemon + garlic to remove the strong smell
Welcome to Cambodia (^^)/
Sonny was the co-host on this one?
today show is very important because we often don't understand why is it people do this and eat that?and with the help of your tour guide we finding out that war forces people to live in survival mode for long people began eating whatever moves and when the war is finally over people are lost within themselves and continue living that same way.sonny can you imagine the number of countries who is going through that same process because of war…war is ugly man
Thanks you for coming and share Cambodia to the world ??????
J'ai trop envie d'y retourner pour mes prochaines vacances !
Cambodian people really look like us Filipinos?
yeah our famous street food is balut:)
The jungle sampler lol
I was born and raised in Long Beach, CA and I was surrounded by Cambodians. My best friends and uncles and now my cousins are all Cambodian and introduced me to Cambodian food and I love it all! One of my favorite foods and yet it is so slept on. Cambodian culture in general is slept on! My family and the families of my friends are very weary to speak about the Khmer Rouge and I don’t blame them. They suffered a lot but I see them beginning to come back!
Lived in Siem Reap for 7 months. Instead of being homesick, i became sick of home.
"Sonny", like your new "Bandana",! It's still red. "NICE"!
‘Is it an iPod? No, is amok fish!’ ???
the Cambodian guy reminds of the asian dude from the hangover movies lol
D more u drink d more you win
cambodia is great
I don't know why, but Sonny didn't seem very enthusiastic like he does in his other videos , does it have to do something with Cambodia in particular.
This exactly why aliens are visiting our planet so often it's the food.
Whoa! How’d I miss this video? I gotta visit my mom now … for dinner ?
So funny brother
Damn thats some good looking grub
Don't believe it all man… Eating "too many" cooked or raw eggs and specially the "balut" while drinking is dangerous. Many Filipino drinkers in the Philippines mistakenly done the same thing and they ended up in the hospital if you're lucky enough or you may ended up dead. Most likely those people with high blood level , be careful man …
Because of the war ?
Finally a good review and the food there is still developing. I just came back from Cambodia.
Love Siam Reap
Maybe you should drink the palm tree juice.
This episode seems very strained with the guide…
You look so much like a guy I went to school with it’s like I’m watching him travel the world. Seriously identical.
I wanna try Cambodian Foods and shares cassava, banana, mango, rice recipes.
We Asian are gifted with so many natural resources, we love planting, no matter how many times they destroyed our small country we will rise up and can still cook all kinds f foods….our food is the healthiest food cause we cook and we have all kinds of fruit bearing trees.
They have balot too.
Haha his face is filled with pain eating those bugs lmfao I love this channel I binge watch all the videos on the chromecast big screen glad the show didnt work out discover his face on the big screen still
it's unfortunate that the foreigners don't understand his humor LOL
Damm, now that I’m looking at these comments, I’m glad my parents survived the war over at Cambodia and moved to the US.
Except the fact that I still want to die internally due to stupid trends.
I'm Cambodian did you enjoy my country
Where the Nom Bajouck?!?

I could eat that jungle food and bahlut.
After 50 beers
