Our one year old German Shepherd dog, Beck, was very nervous when we first brought home our ginger kitten, Bleu. It took about a week before Beck figured out all Bleu wanted to do was play, and they’ve been best friends ever since. For the last six months they’ve been play fighting, fight fighting, chasing, and cuddling each other every day.

Kittens are so super cute when they are that age. Young and fun. Then … they get fat. At least all mine do. I love me a fat cat! Actually not all of them, just the boys, my girls each and every one from childhood until now (not telling!) have all been really petite. Right now my little girl is actually bigger than her much older sister cat. She is getting a "wide bottom" when she sits … she was so tiny of course, she found us, walked right up to me while changing a tire at a gas station at 4 am one day, she came home with me and stayed ever since. Little baby Scooter.
