day of the beaver
not many species can directly affect their environment
Well, termites construct mounds on par with the tallest of human skyscrapers and the deepest of human mines, at once – taking the scale into consideration, that is. How does that fit into your theory?
hello 240p we meet again
My uncle hunts these and he gets 5 bucks a beaver tale
the beavers poo pee and shit in their home, and in the water they travel in, and then they bring their food through that water in their home and eat it
What about ants, termines, bees, and wasps?
Beavers are socially conservative libertarians. They are monogamous and care a lot about their property rights "Because they invest so much energy in their territories, beavers are intolerant of intruders.." "A territory-holding beaver will investigate and become familiar with the scents of its neighbors. As such they respond less aggressively to intrusions by their territorial neighbors than those made by nonterritorial floaters or "strangers"."-wiki
All mammals came from something similar to a shrew.

Beavers kick ass.
now that you mentioned it, I could use some extra fur and a tail…
@Kippercakeyay Those are a bit different, though. Most of the bird species build things that are super simple compared to the metropolitan regions that beavers come up with. And the insect species tend to make things that are very emergent in nature, with less apparent engineering involved. The beavers strike a very human-like balance of large, complicated structures, with a relatively low number of relatively skilled laborers. Beavers are also unique in the raw amount of shit they destroy.
What does the Beaver say when the flow is too strong? Dam it!
@userkc It seems like that to the ignorant. Fact is beavers help keeps watery habitats and swamps in good shape, which is vital to quite different species. If you had basic geology classes, you'd understand why swamps and and watery habitats are very important.
I wonder what the beaver would think if you helped him out with the walls

im convinced that humans evolved from beavers. its because you really dont see any other animal smart enough or capable to create buildings and what not.
@KangoTV Knowing that you're certainly helping the family, awesome.
I wouldn't mind coming back as a beaver. Digging channels and building dams. A nice way to fill your day.
They are so cute.
