All calm down. We don't know nothing. It's possible the mother was killed in an car accident or by a predator, it's possible but very unlikely, that the mother comes back and the puppies are gone, it's possible, that someone kept the mother at home but abandoned the puppies, because hes/she couldn't care for them. All we know is, there are puppies in the wild all by their own and next to a street. It was the right choice to save them, and they all will live a happy healthy house life instead of trying to survive in the wild.
But how do I get one?? Im in the USA?

I bet they are with their mom, maybe it just happened that the mother was searching for food… at the time the rescuers arrived.
