2. my aunt and I adopted out a whole kill shelter and saved the animals after we won a lottery. then we sold each and every animal. dogs and cats. a lot of them were kittens too ?? (of course we kept a couple dogs and a kitty)

4. I lost my cat Gino!! He is a black and hairy tail, so one day one of my neighbors called Animal control, he dissappears like a 4 days, and i went to the nearest shelter. When i ask them for my cat they told me" your cat escape". But I think they are liars.

20. awww ? I saved my cats life, and would love to save others but my mum said it would be unfair on our cat (and hens) and she's probably right but I still feel guilty?
    But I do work in a cat and dog shelter and I get so happy when a cat/dog gets adopted! ? (it's also great exercise walking a dozen dogs every day…)

24. This is so sad 🙁 I love animals so much and I hate that this is happening to them. I hope one day this will end but the next generation doesn't seem to care about animal which is horrible. I am 12 and I don't know anyone who cares about animal at my school 🙁 I try my best to help them, at school I banned killing frogs for science class but when I grow older I wish to do more to save them and I hope there are more children like me out there who still have a large heart for animal.

26. Fun Fact: finding a long haired cat in a shelter on the Mississippi gulf coast is exceedingly rare. I found mine through Petfinder.com and adopted them from out of state Rescues. We are about to celebrate our one year anniversary. I love these two cats! One is super sweet and one is sassy.

27. I was about to to go a shelter when someone on fb posted a picture of kittens with their momma. she had to give them away or they would end up at the shelter because she had to move. I wanted to take all but could only get one. I was hoping someone else would take one too. But later she said only I went to get him and the rest (5) ended up at the shelter. I felt so bad. when I get a bigger place I'm definitely going to a shelter for my next kitty

30. I had a cat growing up who was scheduled to be euthanized an hour before we adopted him. He was estimated to be about 2 when we got him and he was one of my best friend for 21 years before we had to put him down after a seizure that left him paralyzed on his left side..

    Once I get an apartment that allows them, I plan on adopting another cat from a shelter instead of a breeder.
