Real Ghosts caught on camera- The Queen Mary, Long Beach, CA

Spread The Viralist

I did the best I could to lighten these photos so that you can see the orbs as I could see them directly on my camera. Pictures were taken with a 10 megapixel digital camera and the lens was clean before and in between takes. There was no altering to these photos for this Imovie slideshow other than cropping, zooming in, lightening them, and adding text and mp3.I understand sometimes a dust particle or water from the ocean could alter a picture and appear to look like an orb but there were so many everywhere, very spooky place. Also if you go on the Queen Mary website you will see that there is 6 tours that they offer currently, 5 out of the 6 being paranormal related!

Crazy place to visit.:)

  1. I level n Bakersfield Ca. rigjt now but originally frm Midland, Texas. my daughter n I decide one night, 2 go n take pics n take vids of da historical houses, n on one pic, it was jus packed w orbs, n on da video my daughter started yelling, "MOM GO FASTER, IT LOOKS LIKE THESE ORBS HEADING TOWARDS US, DAT WAS SCARY =•○

  2. yup, most likely waterspots on the lens. If you had a video of one moving while the camera was held still, I might believe it

  3. Call me a skeptic, call me a kill-joy, but I tend to think it's something to do with the camera itself, and not actual "orb-spirits". Maybe not the lens in particular, as you suggest to those of us in doubt, but 'something' about the camera – i.e.: perhaps condensation of moisture within the camera's inner workings, or even a somewhat natural phenomenon in photography known as "lens flares", which is a replication of lights elsewhere in the picture(?) What I'd suggest, is going back to the Queen and bring a friend with a second camera, to where you could both take similar pictures of the ship's hot-spot areas, simultaneously, then compare afterwards to find out for certain whether or not it's the camera. I do believe in spirits, by the way, and I could, (of course), be wrong. ;o)

  4. lmao the first one um is a glare xD and window spots, im a photography major in my 2nd year just next time add that they might not all be spots so you dont get made fun of

  5. why do they frequently change size? one second they are all over outside and they are the size of godzilla, then in the hallway they are the size of rats. it looks like specs of dust or salt deposits on the camera lens. the beam of light was a reflection of the camera flash against the polished metal in the hallway. many of the "haunted" pictures of this ship are taken with a lighting trick. if these things are all over the city of long beach and they show up on camera so easily why aren't all of the pictures and footage of the ship showing these orbs?

EDIT: did you go on the ghosts of legend tour, because they say that the ghosts look like orbs. along with the ship sinking all of a sudden, but then being fine when we leave the tour, it is just a cheap cheesy stupid tour that contradicts all of its claims.

  6. All the pictures I see Of this place are just dirty and nasty looking! Forget the ghosts, I have made arrest in crack houses that weren't this dirty, LOL! By the way, ORBS are NOT Ghost.

  7. lens flare resolution….. MAYBE one or two of the Orbs you claim to be Orbs are actually Orbs. I know Queen Mary is haunted, but they usually look a bit different than these here do… Jus sayin… Btw, you're a hottie Summer! Wowee Wee Waaaaaaaaa 😉

  8. It's lens flare. The lens doesn't need to be dirty. It's a reflection between the elements of the lens. They occur when there's a strong point or source of light in a photo or just outside (like your flash) & they have the shape of the lens' iris.

  9. I kinda thinks those might be the light around you.. especially if you have a flash camera, so no harm there. The last thing to expect to see is a ghost hand. But, only poltergeist and voices was heard on the ship, I think it's a little to late to be seeing them now

  10. I had quite high hopes for this film, the Queen Mary IS a haunted ship, I have no doubt about that, but ORBS!! Come on, everybody is so over orbs, that was the mainstay of Most Haunted in the early episodes! And look how much they've progressed since then. Use your time better Summer!

  11. I'm sorry but I did not see any proof of ghosts at all! I don't know what those "orbs" really are. If its off your camera or dust or who knows. But did not prove anything in my opinion.

  12. everybody's comments are cracking me up. It is what it is and that's what it is! I'm sure some are water spots, being that it's on a boat. I'm sure some are dust being that the boat is old , but just be open minded …
