  1. I agree with what you say but people are encouraged into recycling but 1½ of household waste never gets recycled…

  2. AND the fucking chemical industry like: Celanese, AdvanSix, Eastman, Air Products and Chemical – making billions, don´t do nothing at all. This is a crime. Where is their charity to the oceans? Why don´t they do NOTHING. NO responsibility??????? NO character?????????

  3. Cant see why 99 or even 1 person would down vote this? Do you not care for the ocean, what possible reasons could there be to count this as bad information…

  4. i wish that i could do this. but, jus me, or jus him, aint enough. still, if we all do it, IT WILL BE A START. and may GOD bless this man for his wonderful being. can we all jus do what we can to make this place a better spot to live in. positivity. pass it around.

  5. So sad to think of all the marine life that doesn't get rescued because no one happened by. Don't people and companies who fish need to reuse their nets and lines? Why is so much left behind?

  6. This is a huge problem that no one thinks about. This is the result of people not having enough experience to fish. Even parents taking the kids to fish when they dont know what they are doing !!! Research , practice and use braid line.

  7. I live a block from the Beach in Naples, FL…Vanderbuilt Beach, I'm on the beach everyday. When I see anyone who tosses the cans or any trash on the beach, generally tourists, I go up to them and shame them, I don't care how embarrassing it is for them. When I see someone getting to leave the beach and they have dug deep holes, I tell them to fill the holes back, because for those who like to walk at night it's painful if you fall in the hole or twist your ankle. People are so inconsiderate.

  8. Great video, all hero's every one of them and a great highlight to the destruction caused by man.
I'm almost ashamed to be a human being when I consider the damage and ignorance we show towards earth, nature and other life.

  9. Start with fishing weights, that are just poison to the environment, then ghost nets that really never stops fishing! Then plastic and general trash, we do this all the time in the Mediterranean sea!

  10. Much respect for taking and using your time to do what you know is right… I will do my part on land to recycle and put waste where it belongs…hopes that others will do the same

  11. I work in the Maldives as a Dive Instructor, and I believe, if every diver would have a small mesh bag with his or her dive gear and picks up trash while diving, we could do a very big impact over time. This way would be much better, than organising on Earth Day for example clean ups, and then doing nothing for the next 364 days !!!

  12. I lost hope to Humanity, every year transients our attitudes gets worst and even worst than ever. Good bye, I can already tell what would happen to the future of Earth.

  13. Educating the children how to keep their surroundings clean is the solution and grown-ups too. I admire native Indian chef telling – we borrowed the planet from our children. You are right we should clean the planet (I'm in recycling business ☺)

  14. Great job captain we need more people like you helping out to hopefully make a dent in this huge problem many thanks to you and keep up the excellent work

  15. I have never understood people who think it's ok to just throw their trash out anywhere they are. God Bless these people who clean up the reefs. These people are some of the REAL heroes of the world!!

  16. This guy is so cool. I would join him but I'm scared what's in the water seen too many movies I'll just make sure I clean up here instead. ??
