There are wolverines and bears in Norway to. But we know very well how they interact.
Bears just find them irritating, but will kill them with a slap if they want to.
The wolverine is a bit to hyped in the US.
And this was a fight? A fight! Well, it will take 5- 10 seconds before the wolverine is dead.
Maybe the bear gets a bleedy nose, but that is just irritating.

And 3; a grizzlys jaws can exert over 750 pounds of pressure so one bite from the grizzly bear it is over for the wolverine can avoide the bear and its powerful bite

I live in Alaska, and I can tell you that Bears eat Wolverines, and prey upon them for dinner if the opportunity presents itself. The Kodiak Bear is an awesome beast.

Jdevilist I guess you don't realize how aggressive Wolverines are. I mean they are small, but they can take down a fully grown Moose. That sounds like a mighty powerful and aggressive Animal to me.

That would not be a good fight, the bear is simply too big and powerful , I would be curious how a wolverine would do against something similar in size to it, like a giant river Otter or a male baboon

I don't know, but honey badgers are pretty tough & fearless. Most lions will not even mess with them. It would be interesting to match a honey badger against a wolverine.
Wolverines are masters of deterrence..but some people might confuse that for meaning they can defeat anything. The strange noises they make, their skunk-like smell, and their style may be enough to deter some..but when push comes to shove..it can be seen that the wolverine is not as powerful, formidable, or as fearless as some may believe. When we put the wolverine side by side with a creature of similar size such as a Pit Bull..it is clear that wolverines lack the same type of drive, resilience, and relentlessness as a more fight-savvy creature like a Pit Bull to actually get in and handle a situation rather than deter.

Some people might think that wolverines are more powerful than bears or that wolverine can stand up to and defeat anything. It's not that wolverines are too powerful or can defeat anything. There are cases of black bears killing wolverine. Wolverine are very good at deterring threats/opponents from wanting to continue..or start in this case..an altercation, but some people mistake that for being more powerful or more difficult to defeat.
Wolverines are some pretty badass creatures. They are kind of like the Pit Bulls of the wild..an animal that packs a lot of punch in such a small frame. I have to say "kind of" like Pit Bulls though, because the Pit Bull is the more badass creature that packs more of a punch. Don't get me wrong..wolverines are still badass..but some people blow them up too much. People think they can do and match up to anything. This is not the case. If the challenger in this video had been a Bully/Bulldog breed like an American Pit Bull or American Bulldog..the wolverine's opponent would have most likely been the one that was the victor.
I saw a video here on YouTube of a 10-month-old female American Pit Bull puppy pretty much ragdolling a badger for its owner when they were out hunting. From start to finish, the American Pit Bull was on the badger shaking it around and dominating it. It was all the badger could do to hang in there. There was a Plotthound there too, but it was kind of just kind there nipping in and out..mostly barking though. While badgers are no the same as wolverine..keep in mind that the badger is in the same family as the wolverine and can even be seen making wolverine back down.
Some may say that it sounds unbelievable that a Pit Bull puppy would be able and willing to handle a creature that can make a wolverine call it quits..but some of these Bully/Bulldog breeds are some serious hardy working dogs. Bred as catch dogs..Pit Bulls were bred to have the physical and mental capability to handle creatures that are bigger and more powerful. Their talents made them successful/useful at things like bullbaiting, bearbaiting, badgerfighting, and dogfighting. Unfortunately those things still go on today even in places where it is illegal..but they are still used for the legal hunting and other work they were bred for as well.
