This animal rescue video features two of the animal welfare partners who work with Partnership with Native Americans (PWNA) and our Reservation Animal Rescue (RAR) program.
Together, we ensure the health and well-being of sick, injured or stray animals in reservation communities, and reduce animal-related health risk in tribal communities.
The first partner featured, Sherry Voigt, is President and Founder of Borders Without Boundaries located in Valentine, Nebraska, just outside of the Rosebud Reservation in South Dakota.
The second partner featured is Andrea Goodman, Founder and Director of the Oglala Pet Project in Kyle, South Dakota, located on the Pine Ridge Reservation.
PWNA makes grants to support or enhance animal welfare programs or subsidize the cost of mobile spay/neuter clinics. PWNA also delivers supplies such as dog food and other high-need products essentials such as collars and leashes, blankets, tick-flea treatments and more.
In 2015, PWNA and RAR supported reservation partners with the rescue, rehabilitation and often placement of nearly 80,000 dogs and cats. These program partners provide the following services in remote reservation communities:
• Spay, neuter and vaccines
• Foster and adoption programs
• Animal rescue and rehabilitation
• Community education on proper care of animals

These are special people. I am half Apache.l lived on the reservations for over tens years. Lots of my people are a lazy pieces of shit, lazy, drunk, welfare, very poorly educated, entitled people…. l had to leave the reservations because it is run by my people. I tried to help with animals and children . My life is much better but my heart is scared with memories and nightmares of all suffering animals and children have suffered. I pray to God forgiveness of that we have caused on to his children and animals.
