1. I joined with the subliminal hope of not coming back. Being discharged when I did, makes me grateful. Not just that I didnt die. But for the ones who did. My buddy is the last of his entire unit, and I hurt for him, daily. It only took 5 years for me to finally realize how selfish I was, for hoping for a flag being given to the ones I love. Im not asking for pity or forgiveness. I just want to share my growth, so others can find solace. I know it's hard to live, sometimes. But keep moving forward. You will find that it is worth it, when you find yourself, again. You just have to remember who you are.

As a Marine, though one never in combat, I feel as if I lost my own brother (also a Marine, active) when I hear of those who gave all, in ALL branches. Much respect to this cover. Simply on point and amazing. I am a new fan.

21. This video made me cry When 911 happened I went to my local recruiter and asked to get back in. I was in the Air Force from 91-95 Security Forces. I told them i would sign any waivers I needed to so i can get back in but was told due to my service connected injuries they couldn't take me back. I was heart broken. I went home upset.

I used to be an ATM Repair Engineer in the field, was repairing an ATM machine on 8 mile near strip bars in Detroit when an armored van had to put $125K into the ATM I was working on, next thing I know, 4 guys came out w/uzis, shot up and killed 3 of my friends/employes, had to hide behind the armored part of van on outside.
