  1. FFS, I know they only want to help, but people need to be educated that you should never turn a turtle onto it's back as they find it extremely difficult to breathe in that postion. While these people are cutting away the nets, the turtle is suffocating.

  2. The last turtle: They are saying in Italian that the turtle's arm is swollen and probably broken so it shouldn't be released. They wanted to give the turtle to animal rescue so they called a "numero verde" a free number provided by government services and gave their location as off the coast of Ischia. They are pouring water on it to keep it wet and they are trying not to stress it out. The barnacles will probably be removed at the marine animal shelter.

  3. This is like a neverending story. Turtles most likely need help over and over and over. Sure glad there are some humans that help them. Just wish there were way more out there doing this for sea life. xo
