Litter is becoming more of a problem for our wildlife, and we are attending rescues all too often, because of it.
In this latest mission, Simon, Lawrie and Ysaline try to locate and free a female mallard from an elastic band, trapped around her mouth!
Luckily, with Lawrie’s stealth like movements, he was able to catch her, without being detected.
Fortunately, the band had left no lasting damage and this mallard was free to live her life to the full, once more!

Yesterday, I saw a seagull have a fish hook and rod attach to his beak of it mouth! I called the DNR and they laugh at me! Humans are the most evil living things on earth!
Another bad thing is fishing line, that's discarded in the lakes and ponds.
❤️ thank you 🙂 ❤️
?????????????
A DUCK BUTT EMERGES!

Please put your rubbish in the bin!! If I ever throw a rubber band away (I do very rarely unless they snap) I cut it so it's not a loop!! Thank you for saving the cute waggle bum??
Only if we had more people like you 🙁
Another Great Save Simon I've already subbed you love watching the ducks where i live I always pick up elastic bands though they're a Menace to all birds not just ducks, And those Drink things are even worse.
Thanks for saving these beautiful animals lives..God Bless you all:)
Wonderful rescue!! ?
Amazing rescue. And to everyone else — stop using plastic, rubber bands, cans, 6-packs with those horrible plastic separators etc etc etc. MOST of your trash is ending up in nature where it is poisoning our oceans and all the marine life in it, and putting all our wildlife in danger.
You are truly amazing with your work, I am so glad and happy, that such people exist. Animals must addore you, just like me. Have a nice day!
Did you catch Alice on camera? Good rescue!
Well done.
Not enough to not litter ourselves; have to be prepared to pick up what someone else has tossed away.
