Rescuing tigers is no easy feat. Tigers need to be put to sleep before wildlife experts approach. But that hasn’t stopped the Wildlife Trust of India and IFAW from saving tigers across India. India’s Tigers are endangered, there are between 2,154 and 3,159 adults left in the wild. They were almost hunted to extinction, and their habitat is rapidly shrinking.
