Under the authority of the Hunt County Constable, the SPCA of Texas has seized 222 cruelly treated animals—166 dogs, 43 cats, 14 kittens and 13 puppies—on Wednesday, July 23 from a property in Wolfe City, TX. Of these animals, two kittens, one cat and one puppy were found deceased on the property.
Many of the animals were being cruelly confined in kennels, pens and other enclosures outdoors and inside two buildings on the property. The animals were also suffering from medical neglect.

If there is a criminal investigation I will testify. BTW all those kittens are at risk for FIP. My cat Sammy was 1.6yo, I had him 2.5 months and had to put him down today. He was at PetCo with mucus running from his eyes and nose, red crust in his ears so bad it took days to get it cleaned out, he had fleas, tapeworm, dehydration, uncared for eye injury and terminal FIP. I informed the manager to get the shelter to come take care of Sam and I called them myself. The guy that answered the phone said, "We don't put sick animals up for adoption" which was a lie because I had been there friday and Sam wasn't there yet. I went back for stuff I forgot and saw poor sick Sam. He also said, "We'll take care of it on saturday" (5 days away). He seemed more interested in the show he was watching than what I was trying to talk to him about.
The mos timportant hing for shelters is to be able to say no to animals they can't possible treat in a good matter anymore. I't painful but it needs to be done to at least treat and help those that they can help.
