Operation Good Pirates of the Caribbean, Sea Shepherd Conservation Society’s Hurricane Dorian relief campaign, delivered over 60,000 lbs of aid to communities in the Bahamas hardest hit by the worst storm in the nation’s history.
Humans were not the only species affected by this tragedy. Many animals were left hurt, hungry, and homeless.
Partnering with Compassion Kind and Humane Haven Animal Sanctuary, The M/V John Paul DeJoria rescued 12 puppies, dogs, and kittens from the wreckage and delivered them to Florida, where they will be given a second chance at life. Watch their story here.
