In the Alex Honnold documentary “Free Solo”, climbers who have died are shown. However, it was surprising to learn that although the film implies that all of these deaths occurred while free soloing, this is not actually the case. We explain how the documentary used poetic license to heighten the intensity.

  2. And the film shows one of those guys falling off the cliff, but he opens a parachute at the end presumably living to die another day.

Dan Osman was a free solo climber who died after breaking the record for rope jumping he jumped over 1,000ft and than 3 weeks later went to take his set up down and instead decided to do the jump one more time just cuz and the rope failed after being melted and damged by the weather but yea he was a legendary free solo climber who died not solo climbing as well as the other 2 who died and now is why your not allowed to fly off Yosemite in a body suit
