31. I think people give lots of attention to animals cuz they are helpless. Yes, children are helpless too, but more than likely they have at least one parent or adult to help them. There is enough land to provide enough food for everyone on this planet, but those with the political power in places like Africa are causing the starvation problems. Food aid gets sent from rich countries to help these people, but they are prevented to getting the aid by the rich and politically powerful there.

33. Humans aren't the only one. And I do care, but efforts should be proportional to the pandemic at hand. Human famines are a GIGANTIC problem. 800 billion people (mostly children) are starving right now. I believe in saving every animal and human, but lets not forget about the bigger problems. In reality, MORE attention goes towards helping homeless dogs and cats in America than homeless people. There seems to continue to be this misconception that there isn't already a TON of support for animals
