They never fail to make a tough day better. Yet for every happy, domesticated animal we see online, there’s another out there in the world facing abuse, sickness and hunger. We rack up billions of views of cute cat videos every year, yet the benefit to the animals we love to watch is practically zero. Imagine if each one of the billions if views of online cat videos equalled even one penny for animal rescue. 

Here’s where you come in. There’s probably a local rescue in your hometown barely making ends meet. They could use that five bucks you were going to spend on a latte. Or your old blankets, your extra Bed Bath and Beyond coupons; the couple of spare hours on the weekend you’d spend watching cat videos anyway.
