The Coastal Animal Rescue & Education (CARE) Network is a registered non-profit, volunteer-based animal welfare organization. Working out of remote communities on Vancouver Island, CARE gives animals and their owners the support they need to live healthy lives. But running a non-profit is tough and funding is hard to come by. So CARE ventured into an unusual business to keep their efforts going.
