The ghost was a man and not a woman. At the 00:37 mark in the video, you can see it has a full beard at the time he was going to use the stairs. He's a long-haired bearded man, like a country folk singer. More like a Jesus Christ beard style. As you can also tell by the height of the ghost, he was very tall.

Looks like just someone walking down the stairs to me. Those Yi Home cameras are terrible. Around 500kbps or less. You cant see who it is yet you think it looks like your wife's bother?
I think if I discovered that my daughter was a "medium" I'd pretty much make her mom deal with it, lol.
