Litsa lived in a small village near our town in Central Greece. I will always remember her telling us… If anything happens to me please take care of my animals… And we did. It took us months but we managed to find adoption for all the cats and then we moved all the dogs under our care. The are still with us and all looking for adoption.

We are rescuing animals that are found abandoned, abused, mistreated and starving, and we are trying to offer them a better life. We are volunteers, and our only resources are donations. All I can say animals know immediately when their owners die. The animals here weren't waiting but in mourning. Everyone was a differently calm than they would have normally react.
