12. I work at a no-kill animal rescue, and it's incredibly hard to see the same animal faces there because they keep getting overlooked. Shout-out to the foster, and the adopter for taking home not only a long stay dog, but a senior one as well, as senior dogs get easily overlooked.

19. If you're looking for a companion PLEASE consider adopting a senior doggo ? My Senior Pitbull gave me some of the best memories of my life & rescuing him turned out to be THE best decision I have ever made. That 1 choice is responsible for treasure trove of amazing memories full with love & laughter, made over the course of many years ? It's just like that old cliché–I thought I saved a dog but the dog really saved me ??‍♀️ Then he saved me again and again and again and then I accepted that I am a lost cause & quit counting ? The hardest part is always saying goodbye but I wouldn't trade those years for any amount of money in the world.

    So if you're a silly human like me who needs the occasional saving here & there but refuses to ask a human for help, fearing judgement over your ridiculous antics, then a dog might be exactly what you need. A senior dog just sweetens the deal???

    Pitbulls crowd our shelters here in NC but all Seniors need loving homes ?????

20. Pitbulls can be good pets, but you have to educate yourself first!! Pitbulls are responsible for about 65% of animal deaths and human injuries. Some pitbulls will be fine their whole lives and others will sometime in their lives become deadly. It is not about bad owners!!! It is about genetics. Therefore, if you are a responsible PitBull owner, and you have a Pitbull that seems loving, take care of it. “ALWAYS” have it under your control!!!! Always put a muzzle on it when taking it out! Pitbulls will always love those that feed him. If this advice sounds like crap to you, then do your own research!!! Don’t be in denial!!!!

42. Marilla is such a beautiful sweet girl how could she be ignored for 4 years?! It's too bad she couldn't have been fostered right away she's so adorable. Kudos to foster Mommy for getting her out of jail. The lady who adopted her is aussem. Senior pets are precious! So glad she has a new loving forever home. She was so happy when her and her new Mommy were going home. Hooray!
