TW for self-harm, suicide, both in the video and desc below.
this is my first time ever like… posting about my ocs really? ive been too shy to do it before but hoooo boy here i go…
the video is quite vague, but whats happening here:
jakob (sad dude w/ the cropped haircut) has struggled with severe depression for most of his life, and as he and his friends are forced to go on an adventure (to ~save the world~) it slowly begins to get harder and harder on him. harpsichord (the rabbit) is his closest friend and someone he would die for, but he’s often scared to admit any of his feelings from fear of letting her down whenever he relapses. this anxiety consumes him and makes him push himself away from the group, and the others see this happening but don’t know how to fix it.
cut to about a week later.
his friends had just found him, near death, after a suicide attempt. they were able to save him in time, but it shattered every dynamic that existed before between them.
eden (guy w the floofy hair) had been verbally abusing him for most of the time they were travelling together, and seeing jakob near death made him rethink every part of his personality, and blame himself immensely for jakob’s attempt.
harpsichord, with no one else to blame, and terrified of the fact that she almost lost one of her only friends, blames eden as well. as jakob is trying to recover, the two would get into screaming arguments with eachother, each trying to pin anything on the other. this went on for weeks.
after jakob finally breaks from all the *yelling*, eden and harpsichord both realize that their anger was causing them both to spiral, and hurt the person they were both trying to protect. they eventually rebuild their friendship, with the promise that they’d both try to become better people in the end.
eden looks at himself, and tries to change himself for the better while working through familial issues.
harpsichord takes care of both herself and jakob, clinging to him as she constantly fears losing him again.
jakob tries to work through his depression, but finds that it’s always an uphill struggle.
tldr; theyre mentally ill
thanks for reading, and thanks for watching 🙂
