Quite common with scooters, ive heard. I drove over a small gap but didnt turn enough, went out of balance and accidentally squeezed the gas. If i was using clutch motorbike, probably didnt fall and scraped my knee badly. I just had a minor accident at malinao but my wound hasnt healed yet and abrasions are really painful. Careful when driving scooters. Our body's reflex is to try and hold on to something when something goes wrong, pls avoid accidentally grabbing and squeezing your scooters gas/accelerator.

Be amazed also by the tourist-y and relaxing historical view of Vigan City! Hundred Islands of Pangasinan is also a heaven on earth! It would be worth it bro!

I crashed countless times and survived all with one which almost cost me my life. You just have to be extra careful. Good thing both of you were wearing helmets.
One part that gets damaged when running a flat tire is the valve stem. So if they replaced that with a new one or a used one, the amount charged is a bit high. If they replaced the inner tube with a new one or a used one, the Php 300 is just about right.
