A Serval Cat displays its dance steps as it practices its hunting skills by playing with a Rock Hyrax.
Cats tire out their prey before making a killing bite in order to minimize their own risk of injury. This is a good idea, because Rock Hyrax’s have tusks and are related to Elephants and Manatees.
Filmed by Brian Heath, executive director of the Mara Conservancy, a non-profit Kenyan organization responsible for managing the Mara Triangle of the Maasai Mara National Reserve.
Brian’s intimate knowledge of the Mara has allowed him to capture some of the most compelling African wildlife videos.
