Rufford Abbey is a country estate in Rufford, Nottinghamshire, England, some 2 miles south of Ollerton. Originally a Cistercian abbey, it was converted to a country house in the 16th century after the Dissolution of the Monasteries.
We visit this gorgeous place quite often & never leave feeling disappointed. There’s lots of wildlife, loads of open space, cafe’s, a restaurant (not visited that yet though), beautiful gardens & lots of tales of ghostly apparitions. I took some still images & upon reviewing them I think I have managed to capture something….
