This is the best posing video I have ever seen. It teaches the photographer how to direct the subjects, not what is a good pose. In my business I have been doing these exact 5 poses for 15 years. This tutorial has taught me how to more effectively and efficiently direct my clients. I am confident I will be able to do a 60 minute job in only 30 minutes. The next task is to choreograph these poses in to a 20 or 40 pose "dance", with each pose flowing beautifully into the next. It will feel natural to the client and make beautiful work.
Thank you for sponsoring Adorama. And Pye, you're the best.
This is amazing
C such a great video to get the basics right, are useless at directing people in photography
Nice and simple.
This was great. Thank you, Pye!
Pye, you’re a genius! Too bad I couldn’t get into your class next month at the 2020 WPPI?
Power packed! Thank you
Omg this is awesome. Made posing easier
Super useful tutorial
Thats great Pye
This is such an excellent and easily understood approach to posing. I truly look forward to more #masteringyourcraft episodes.
Awesome. Thanks a lot for this tutorial pye. Really helps me.
Pye, that was VERY helpful for those of us who are just getting comfortable with portrait photography. THANK YOU!!
PERFECT!!!!!
This is the best video Pye you've done on this. Excellent video
Was there external light used? The final processed images have quite a bit additional exposure on the subjects. Guessing you didn't want to completely blow out the sky and curious if the final, beautifully-exposed images are due to post or if there was additional external (even reflector) light. ?
Great video! Very solid tools to have!
This tutorial is so amazing. Thanks a lot. Wedding season can come.
Sooo Great and helpful when starting out in Coupé photography????
Omg! This was amazing!! straight to the point and very helpful, thanks

Posing couples with without doubt the weakest part of my biz. Great video and looking forward to the next part. (Not sure why there are 18 thumbs down on this).

What is she is 4’11” and he us 6’1” how would you the “V” pose or arm around her hips?
Excellent. I love this series . Would love to see more of such videos . ??
Thank you, brilliant and easy to understand.
The best photo guide I have ever seen!

Brilliant as ever Pye, thanks for posting.
None of these poses work if they were fat or had the same height.
