The title should say "how can we get a 100 foot title wave to hit California?" lol
Be a good start!
What came to my mind is 100 feet attacking California like wtf?
Mm, I live in Nailsea, Somerset UK and while folks think it's a nice safe little country, there is a historical account of a tsunami hitting Clevedon's coast in 1607, which is really part of the Bristol Channel and because it is only barely above sea level and sits in something of a basin it swept right inland, taking a whole community away and leaving devastation in its wake. There is an old church in Tickenham and there is a post erected at the front of the church grounds marking how far the water level came.
The land itself, over this causeway, is only good for sheep and cattle grazing, has numerous drainage ditches running through it in an effort to control the water mantle and the road that crosses it is constantly being repaired as it subsides at the edges. There are often geese, swans, and herons in the fields because just with just a little prompting, namely a few days of wet weather and it floods.
Clevedon's population is expanding so it moves further inland, and Nailsea's population is expanding out towards it. If it were to happen again it would be catastrophic. But the odds of it happening? The 1607 one was not expected and as you say in your vid, just how do you predict such a thing? The earth doesn't give a damn about anything. It just does what it does. Certainly makes you think, doesn't it?
Love the vids but "significant damage" is starting to drive me insane its so predictable hahaha
The valley would be an inland sea
What if it did? Well, I’d be smiling
Screw the rich. Let the rich suck it up & deal with . Most people would feel sorry for the normal people and that would be the one's we would help & not the rich for them it's suck it up or sink or swim.
@underworld What would happen if a 200 foot wave hit the smallest state in the us road island
Bend Over And Kiss Your Sorry Ass Goodbye And Run For Dear Life
