Why Are Puerto Ricans Sleeping Outside Their Homes?

Spread The Viralist

Puerto Rico has experienced over 2,000 earthquakes in the last month. For many Puerto Ricans, the psychological consequences of the disaster are just as significant as the structural damage.

  1. Because Democrats responsible for aid misplaced millions of dollars worth of food, first aid supplies, and other relief which was just discovered sitting in a warehouse never given to the Puerto Rican people…

Like it or not, Trump throwing out paper towels to people was more help than what people in our own idiot party managed to screw up

  2. I've lived in Puerto Rico for the past 8 months. I haven't been able to sleep though the night since moving here. Does anyone else suspect the earth quakes are from fracking and off shore oil drilling?

  3. God is punishing Puerto ricans because of the way they treat their dead! They mock the body stuffing it with hay and display the body in their living rooms for everyone to see, some kind of taxidermy, Its disgusting and disturbing

  4. I watched this video twice and it’s so damn terrible. How hard is it for AJ+ to have English speakers over the Spanish talkers being muted? Nobody wants to read subtitles in 2019. Very important story but just lazy production by AJ.

  5. man PR folk getting soft. in the 80-90s Pr kats were rowdy and strong and im sure some still are. natural disasters u have to expct them to happen when living in the tropics. I admit earthquake is a bit more rare but an earthquake is way more preferential rather than tsunami or cat 5 hurricane. thats a fact.

  6. Puerto Rico is paying for the sins of their ancestors. AmeriKKKa is soon to be repaid too. The guilty will not go unpunished. It is written in the scriptures. All nations that enslaved Blacks and did not pay reparations will be punished with super natural disasters.

  7. You live on an island in the middle of nowhere. You are subject to danger on a daily basis. Don't be an idiot and move off the island. But I suppose that would require you to give up free American taxpayer money. Well, I guess you are staying put…

  8. Look, I am from Puerto Rico and I am gonna light up about this.

People from Puerto Rico give a f… about the earthquakes (because baby boomers, gen x, millenials and gen z has never ever experienced an earthquake) the last big was in 1918.
When I was in school in the 90's, we did a lot of earthquakes exercises after the 2000, schools stopped doing it so. Only an exercise here and there and the fucking ignorance, the people never exercised the test that the government were doing from time to time. NEVER!
I am aware of it since 2010, when I felt the first earthquake in PR of 5 point something. Since then I started making a plan because I live only five miles away from the sea in the metro north where the Trinchera is at.
People called me crazy that an earthquake will never happen because we under god's hands (typical christian-catholic believing that God will never allow this)
I left water prepared before I left in july of last year and my parents threw more than 100 water bottles full of water to the sink cause nothing was gonna happen (I supplied for them after Maria and they never complained about me bringing water, food and ice)
So guess what? They called me freaked out when this earthquake happens. I have no contact with my mom at all and they called me crying, oh, an earthquake happened, all I said, I warned you so. And I left them water and there was no water for a while.

Ignorance runs in Puerto Rico like a plague. I do not feel sorry at all for my fellow puertorricans that did not listen, I feel sorry for those that lost but were aware and prepare. A lot of things we have said and done to wake them up about the nature but they rely that will never happen or we don't care, cause God is there.

Believe, but then don't blame on God after.
Ignorance is bliss and Puerto Rico runs on it. Nature doesn't give an f, because we are in the nature house, earth is not ours, we are from the earth, and she take, she give and she cleans. If you do not respect that or you are not aware of it, you will fear for something that NEEDS to happen because is the way nature doing cleaning and restoring herself.

And before I get any trash against me, I do donate, I do volunteer and I do continue informing. But you cannot hide the truth.
