11. Wally is very cute but every Sharpei I've ever met really smells. ? And I've had my share of stinky dogs. I had a Pointer who always stunk to high heaven for some reason. Loved him anyway. ??

12. Hopefully the former owner watches this and can see how much everyone loves the dog but dont like her. He is in a good place now.

23. Called the people bad owners because neighborhood kids throw firecrackers at it? That doesn't make them bad owners. They cant help what kids do. Some people cant have dogs inside. They should have given it to animal control though.

24. It's owners like that, that make me hate humans. But I have to tell myself, that there are good and bad humans, so just concentrate on the good people and hope Karma takes care of the bad. Thanks to everyone for helping Wally. He looked like he had Mange, too.

27. This "ugly" dog reminds me of how people look for a specific breed or look in a dog, but what most people fail to realize is that you will live a dog no matter what they look like. My gf and I went to an adoption event and I was hoping to get a cute little puppy we saw on the shelters website, but then we saw a 3 legged dog that nobody wanted to go near him and I saw one lady look at him in disgust. We felt bad and went to check him out. I wasn't sure if I wanted a 3 legged dog either but when we came to him he pressed right up against my leg and we had to take him. He was pretty messed up, we don't know what happened to him. He has scars on his belly and our vet said his leg was surgically removed. This is in Japan and we later found out that veterinarian students there will practice surgery on live dogs. I can't imagine what he went through. He's still pretty scared of being outside bit he's doing much better and has a lot of great doggy friends because my gf is a dog walker.
    My point is, all dogs are wonderful and if you really love dogs you will love any dog you choose no matter how they look.

31. That is terrible for the person to even say that they don't want that old dog. But yet they also go say that they don't morning and he can go away. They should be given a citation and put in jail because that dog didn't do nothing but grow old. And it should be able to live out the rest of his life with you but yet you don't want it because or what if them grew old. Don't you want to grow old?

32. Twice I had neighborhood kids come in my yard and torment my dogs….
    Two separate occasions….
    A 12 year old girl came in my yard and was hitting my dog with stick and the dog was chained up cause he was jumping the fence….
    The dog bit the girl and next thing I know her parents were suing me….
    But neighbors witnessed this and came to court with me and the girl was charged with trespassing and animal cruelty and her parents had to pay big fines !!
    I raised my kids to be kind to animals and would never make excuses for behavior like that….
    There was more to this story but too much to add…the girl had come into my yard three separate times…..
    God bless kind people everywhere that love and help our animal kingdom
