Spectacular capture of a large iceberg breaking off the glacier ‘Perito Moreno’ in Argentina. The ice field of the Glacier Perito Moreno is the world’s third largest reserve of fresh water. In the right time of the year big blocks of ice break off the glacier and drop into the water. The waves created by such glacier calving events often splash dozens of meters through the air. The glacier is one of Argentina’s most beautiful natural wonders, the colors and shapes of the ice remind of a piece of art of Gaudi. The glacier itself is about 5 km (3.1 mi) wide and has an average height of 74 m (240 ft) above the surface of the water.
Despite that most of the innumerable glaciers worldwide are retreating as a result of global warming and climate change, one of the few unusual glaciers that maintains a state of equilibrium is the Perito Moreno glacier, because it continues to accumulate mass at a rate similar to that of its loss (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Perito_Moreno_Glacier).

Sorry if the beginning is a bit shaky (at the moment). This should be resolved shortly, it seems that YouTube is still processing the video.
The blueness of the ice I've not seen that before, so pretty
Imagine how much is under the water.great video
Awesome!! I love seeing these videos ❤️❤️❤️
Very impressive, thank you.?❤️
Wir waren vor ca. 5 Jahren am Perito Moreno Gletscher, damals haben wir allerdings mit dem Wetter nicht so viel Glück gehabt. Weckt dennoch schöne Erinnerungen, tolle Aufnahmen!
Honestly love these glacier videos, keep them cominggg! 🙂
Went down like butter
Anyways, impressive video.
I am wondering where the iceberg moved after it broke off?? Did it sink to the bottom of the ocean? That thing was huge and only a few pieces are floating on the surface.
So sad to see the glacier melting not a happy site for me
