5. Personal observation. As an American, I think the Brits law enforcement knows how to handle fleeing suspects the best. They don't dick around.
   I hate to say it but I think, for the most part, our law enforcement agencies have bowed down to liberals whims when it comes to safety. Ie., "Let's pass a bill requiring the wearing of a helmet when chewing marshmallows." ( don't laugh, given enough time and they run out of other stupid laws to pass, that just might become a reality).
   So when in pursuit of an armed suspect, because a motor vehicle is considered a deadly weapon if driven unsafely, they would rather play cat and mouse games until the suspect plows into a loaded school bus, when there are several, SEVERAL, opportunities for many different types of maneuvers to stop the suspect. The Idea of safety is grand. I'm all for it. But they seem to forget that the longer the suspect is behind the wheel, the odds of damages, injuries, and death increase.
   Kudos to GB and how to handle real situations in the real world.

18. I personally think that because they didn't stop when told too.
    If they injure anybody, damage any vehicle or property, damage any police vehicle or damaged the car they have stolen if it is a stolen vehicle whilst trying to escape. as in the van 7:27).

    They should be made to pay in full for ALL the damages they caused.

    Take their house of them and sell it if they have one or car or anything they can to pay the damages.

    Or if they have nothing, then they get so many months in prison (on top of the original sentence) for every £1000.00 that they owe.

    I think this is the only way to make them see sense, and if they don't? well at least it won't be the victims forking out for them all the time.
    Also in Britain, it used to be the police wouldn't chase a biker if he didn't have a helmet, and so they would take off their helmets and throw them away and not get chased.
