Three people were at the house when the fire broke out around 1 a.m. in the 6500 block of Old Mill Circle, Watauga Fire Chief Shawn Fannan said.
According to WFAA-TV (Channel 8), the victim made it out but went back inside for a dog, which also died in the fire.
