    Please don't despair. You are one beautiful human being and there's not many like you on this planet, that is why YOU have to be strong and carry on doing what you do. Please don't let every thing get you down. I know it seems like
    "What's the point, there's going to be even more dogs abandoned next week, next month, next year"….. and unfortunately there will be, every where. BUT for those, you are the people, the ones, you and Takis and Viktor are here to save. This is why you are here. So please don't despair because you are all they have and you do wonderful life saving/changing work for all the animals you come into contact with, so think of those happy wagging tails and carry on.
    You are loved and respected more than you can imagine.

21. I can't change other peoples behaviour towards animals but I can love one at a time. I got my dog when she was three years old. She's my baby and now she is 14,5 … We are going the Camino this year and she has her own house with her on a wagon – just she and I … together … always … in a long goodbye before she leaves me … <3

22. I literally cried from begining untill end. You give the most beautiful voice to this amazing gifts that dog's are for humans! I have two furr babies myself and they are the absolute love of my life. They saved me, they stay when everyone is leaving and they love in a way that can only be compared with a mother's love, pure and absolute. We humans really don't deserve this amazing gift they are.I believe animals was God's way of telling us,, I am with you every second,,

32. Valia, Look for the YT channel name inchbyinchatatime and really listen to it. I'm not into sports, but I see the passion and words are about life. And for animal loving rescuers & saviours, I hear, visualize, and, feel they fight to save lives "inch by inch" every single day. It's who you are, you're a giver not a taker. To not be who you are and not saving animal lives inch by inch is to sell your soul. To every single rescued animal they've been given a chance they would not have had with likely much continued suffering if you had not rescued. Valia YOU, Viktor, Valencia hospital staff, Takis, the lady who had Apollo and so, so many many more are on the front lines fighting "inch by inch" to make a difference! Impossible to save all but you and others are making a difference inch by inch. 36. Valia, you are such a gifted writer and narrator. You bring me into the private, loving moments that you have with each of your furry companions. You are different. You meet them where they are, not where you are. You accept them as they are and in doing so, learn their truth, which opens a channel of love that you share with the dog you are with. They know and you know it. There's no mistake. It's genuine. It's the real deal. I think the day you arrive in Heaven, God will put you in charge of meeting all of the new dogs upon their arrival. Don't be surprised if Viktor and Takis are alongside there to help you.

38. Mimi reminds me of my girl, LuLu ? she was found as a 8ish month old puppy, engorged with milk and appearing to have just given birth, emaciated and terrified of everything. No puppies anywhere. My parents live in a popular dumping area and we assume she was discarded there. She has become the funniest, sassiest, loveliest little dog and I love her so much ?❤️ I am truly blessed by the universe to be her mother.
