A rare video with an animal fight I managed to shoot by coincidence. A rat fights for survival with a bird.
Download stock audio/video and read articles on my website: https://hitokageproduction.com
Filmed this while having a nap on a bench in Madrid. I heard that strange sound and I was quite surprised to see this duel. It looks like a magpie but not sure and a mouse or small rat maybe? At the end you can see that there were more of the birds and well I just couldn’t watch that any longer, went there to save the mouse. Moved it to a safe place and gave it a piece of bread.

What happened after the video? I moved the rat to a safe place in some bushes with dense vegetation nearby and gave it food.
Why didn't I interfere earlier? Cause I expected the rat to fight back and scare the bird off. This is how nature works after all, if I were not there it would have to keep fighting or give up anyway.
Many of the people here are sympathizing with the rat but if it appeared at their house, they probably wouldn't hesitate to use poison or other ways to get rid of it. The irony of life.
“And that’s how Raditude, came to be.”
Kill the dam rat
Not trying to victim blame, but what did the rat do to deserve this?
I don’t mind rats being outside but I don’t like it when they are in the house
Ima shoot that dam bird
Can you stop the bird? All you want to do is put it on youtube
Бедная мышка. А сороку прогнать ни как, стоят и снимают
1:36 the rat has having bird attacking its family flashbacks
Wow fucking pussy
Reminds me of my ,( older), brother, by the WAY,( i.m the rat!
F
the rat will die of stress… thats was just to much…
Idk why but its interesting to see rats get eaten :/
I mean my dog likes to catch/eat rats when she sees them..
Maybe because i just hate dem..? They do steal our valuable foods and stuffs..
When you got an overpowered weapon but the attack stat is shit and the boss just won't die
You could have shooed that bird away, but instead thought a rat getting tortured made great footage for the internet. after seeing humans being ruthlessly attacked, with other humans just getting their phones out to record, this is not surprising. You get a thumbs down, and I am going to tell YouTube to never, ever recommend one of your horrible videos to me again.
They weren't fighting. The rat was being bullied by the bird. And just like a bully, whenever the rat turned around and faced him, the bully got scared and left.
Kinda needless to say "mouse". Rats and mice are totally seperate. Also, its a defenseless baby good god. It probably just left the nest. You could have helped it way earlier in the video. And before you say it, no I wouldn't kill a rat in my house.
Poor little guy. Nature is so cruel. Why couldn’t God have made things work differently instead of life feeding on life? The only probable answer, it seems, is that there is no God. The universe is merely indifferent and apathetic.
I feel so sorry for the little guy
Is it wrong for me to feel sad for the mouse?….
I feel bad for the rat. It's just like if you are in school getting bullied but it's in nature.
If only they didn't stink and carry disease…
Grove Street, home. at least before i fucked everything up. Bird pecking rat to death in the background
Why you did not help that mouse or that rat
That mouse fought a warrior and now he rests in Valhalla with odin on the throne
Kawawa ang daga
fair play
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Both vermin.
That beak is a dagger!! You should have let that diseased carrying rodent alone so the bird could eat.
That weak ass rat let that shit come to NYC
I've never seen a Bird go attack a Rat before. That was pretty awesome. You should've let the Bird finish the Rat off. After all it's just a dirty old Rat.
Bird used peck!
Not very effective…
Rat used bite!
It missed!
Жалко мышку ?
The problem is why that rat just Run !!,?
That crow kicked the rat's a$$. He was too punch-drunk to seek shelter when the crow was frightened away. The bird probably came back later and finished him off for dinner.
I always find it amusing to read all the comments on animal encounters, everyone's an expert (in their own mind). One side says "it's nature, you have to stay out of it!" and the other side says "how could you not help the animal?". I look at it both ways, this particular incident, this rat and bird are living in a non-natural urban environment, among human structures, thriving off of human leftovers and waste. Humans did not discover that concrete bench, sidewalks and other structures there, they built it!
I know other side will immediately claim it's humans that took their habitat from them. Which always makes me question, why are humans the only mammal excluded from "nature"? and not allowed to interfere with it when we share as much as 99% of the same DNA with some animals?
the disadvantage of having a tail
Stop ganking me fucking rogue 60, just want to play!
Go on Maggie, finish the vermin.
Looks like it's Newcastle v Arsenal
at least it’s the circle of life
These rat saw the attack of a feathered dinosaur.
