Today, I’m (Trevor James, The Food Ranger) traveling along with my wife Ting and taking you in for a MASSIVE street food tour of Melaka, Malaysia! This is the home of NYONYA food and so much more!

Today we’re taking you for 5 street foods in Melaka! here we go!!!

And first up, we’re starting off with a FAMOUS Malaysian street food dish, the mee bodoh, literally translated as “stupid noodles”, called that name because there are only 3 ingredients, noodles, sambal, and bean sprouts! Super delicious!

and After this , we’re bringing you in for a famous Malaysian street food in Melaka, the NYONYA kuih! These are incredibly aromatic Nyonya dessert cakes full of coconut milk and gula melaka palm sugar syrup! Incredibly delicious!

And then after this, we’re bringing you to a FAMOUS street food in Malays,a the roti John sandwich! This one was super crispy and deep fried with lots of egg batter and loaded with rich and sweet cheese sauce and chili sauce! Very Unique!!!

And next up, we’re bringing you in for another famous street food in Melaka, the biryani rocket! this is one the most unique cooking techniques in the world!! You need to see the way this Malay biryani is made!
