We just became proud parents of a new puppy and our new puppy is a Pomsky. A Pomsky is a mix between a Pomeranian and a Husky. But our Pomsky is a second generation Pomsky, also known as an F2 Pomsky, meaning that both her parents are Pomskies themselves. We think Pomskies are the cutest dogs ever. And Pomsky puppies are just adorable. Our new puppy is no exception. She is the cutest puppy we have ever seen.
Our previous dog passed away in January. She was a mix between a Pomeranian and an American Eskimo, so not quite a Pomsky, but somewhat related to a Pomsky. We waited a few months to get a new puppy and this one came up kind of serendipitously. Now we are back in puppy training mode.
This video is about our journey to downstate Illinois to go get our new Pomsky from the Pomsky breeder and her first few hours discovering her new parents, her new house, and her new backyard. The adventures of a Pomsky raised on a farm and moving to the big city of Chicago.

PS – Pomeranians are German Spitz dogs. Their normal size was 20 to 40 pounds. Queen Victoria fell in love with them and she bred them to be smaller 3-7 pounds is the AKC standard but genetics being genetics, sometimes you get the throwback style of Pom. American Eskimo dogs are German Spitz, in the US, during WW1, they changed the name from German Spitz to American Eskimo dog……so they are the same dog. And Poms are german Spitz dogs that have been miniaturized……..so they are the same dog too.
I dont own a Pomsky but they are adorable. Ive had a Siberian Husky and two Pomeranians……I still have one Pom (throwback style because its 20 pounds).

Hey guys just came across this vid cause I just got a pomsky myself. I also had a dog by the name of maya that passed away last year, she was 10. So when you guys mentioned that your dog maya had passed away and seeing as you got a pomsky I feel like we relate haha Maya was my world as I’m guessing so was yours.
