The clock one, the clocks at my elementary school used to do that after the time changed twice a year, it was the administration remotely controlling it. Nothing spooky about a clock doing that.

George, you said that you won't buy old houses because someone probably died there but since the modern form of humans have been around for about 200,000 years, our ancestors have been around for about 6 million years, someone has probably died on your property. Not probably- 90% someone has died on the land that your house was built. There were so many wars, fights, killings and just death that if you stand in your back garden, someone's most likely died there at some point. So, you shouldn't be scared that someone's died in a house because at least one person has died on your property.
