?ABOUT BEFRS:
Hey, I’m Sonny! I’m from the US but currently call Vietnam home. I’ve been living in Asia for 10 years and started making food and travel videos to document my experiences. I travel to different parts of the world, hunting down and documenting the most unique food each country has to offer.

If you see any factual food errors in my videos, please feel free to politely let me know in the comments. I’m a huge fan of trying different, interesting foods in each country. My show is from a Western point of view, but more importantly, MY point of view. It is not meant to offend any person or culture.

  1. Geez…you make some of the most stupid remarks, and puh-leeze get rid of those stupid bandana's they look ridiculous! Your childish, sexual-orientated remarks are inappropriate in any SouthEast Asian business environment. Especially in front of a woman! They may smile but they are thinking very differently. You do a good job bringing interesting information to the masses and it's obvious you're well-liked. Good for you!!

  2. this was brilliant! I was eating at the beginning of this and still wanted to try this and that! first up that Burrata Parma Ham Pizza …..YUM!!! 😀 makes me want to visit Vietnam again.

  3. i feel offended by what they call a german sausage, by far no one with the right mind wouldn ever call those abominations german sausages!

  4. The fish sauce gelato scene reminds me of when I was in Indonesia and a friend got me to try durian ice cream. It wasn't my cup of tea, but I felt compelled to at least smile and say thank you.

Update: Oh my gosh, there's the durian again! ?

  5. I came across this video by accident, seeing it was over 2 hours I thought id just put it on and if I fell asleep, well that would be ok but wow, I found myself just amazed and yep, no nap. so ive subscribed to watch more of these. I do love how long they are too. thanks guys. ive learnt a lot. watching the pizza, I would try that with the big blob of cheese in the middle. looked yum. but im a fruitarian so most of the stuff I wouldn't eat except those dragon fruits, wow, im yet to find a yellow one so I will keep my eyes open for them hopefully I can find them in australia.
great job.. oh that fish sauce icecream ewwwww…

  6. paused video, trying to think of what combinations of foods work, and the only thing i could think of was a heat lovers rice triangle that inside has various progressive waves of heat (from spices) to the end.
Then i wondered why i wondered why the progress bar was only 1/3 of the way along. Seriously!! May need to break this video into a few viewing sessions

  7. Slurp away! Slurping noodles is customary in Asian countries, you're kind of expected to do it! It's their way of saying "mmmm, that's good"!

  8. i like how food recipe and machinary being shared across world to fullfill hapiness……thanks to the chef and engineer and leader who share those thing….hopefully these attitude being pass down to younger generation

  9. I truly enjoy all the videos. Always great content I like the humor. The episodes are always very informative. The Vietnam one was great the traveling and trying strange foods. I look for to more.
Thanks till the next one . Primo
