2. i must be the only one that sees a bad hit and wants to grab the stick and smash it round the persons head and fuck em up

3. Some of these hits is why they say keep your head up… Means keep an eye on what's happening while stick handling, Feel the puck with the stick, look for a hit coming.

4. I'm kinda surprised at the aftermath of the Hall hit on the Vancouver player. He's out cold and they're steady just jumping over him, kicking his head… I understand they were in a melee but get outta there and fight in the faceoff circle. Didn't look like a dirty hit necessarily

5. Most of these are just big hits not life threatening injuries

6. Does anyone think that sometimes they lose sight of who they're trying to give retribution to the opposition whose caused the initial incident or injury?

8. I really don’t think anyone will argue against any of these being life threatening

The only 4 legitimate life threatening injuries that happened to be caught on camera in the NHL were Clint Malarchuck's lacerated jugular (skate to neck), Chris Pronger's commotio cordis (puck impact to heart), Rickard Zednik's lacerated artery (skate to neck), and Trent Mccleary's crushed larynx (puck to throat). Yuri Fisher and others have suffered cardiac arrest during games as well but they arent actual injuries. This video geatures serious injuries for sure, but none were life threatening.

12. I love how the announcers blame Tennyson for being vulnerable. If the useless tit that is Reaves doesn’t run him, there is no conversation. Id rather see the Stevens/Kariya hit then a hit from behind a foot from the boards.

14. Regardless of what you think of Ulf S, the announcer (I think it's Harry Neale) sounds like an ass pretending to be counting out the player as if it's a boxing match.

15. It pisses me off seeing these mindless teammates of an injured player ignore the injured player and skate all over him just to throw hands. It shows less interested in that injured player and more interested in getting some punches in, even if you put a blade to your teammates face in the process.

21. I hate when someone is out cold on the ice and everyone piles on top. Just all those skates close to the unconscious person’s face give me anxiety.
